Dry Dock Seven Seas- If you have not had anything from this brewery yet, they are definitely one to check out! This double IPA is brewed using seven different types of hops – Chinook, Columbus, Centennial, Challenger, Cascade, Crystal and Citra – hence Seven “C’s”. It pours a hazy caramel color with a large white head. The nose is big with citrus, grapefruit and semi sweet bready malts. Flavors of grapefruit, sour tangerine and bready malts dominate with hints of caramel and pineapple while finishing mildly bitter. The body and carbonation are medium with a touch of hop oil coating your tongue. Excellent in my book! 9% abv 90 IBUs
Was- $7.49 Email- $6.49 22oz
Unibroue Ephemere (Cassis)- There are a couple different versions of Ephemere, this one being the black currants offering. And it is really good! This one pours a hazy pink - amber color with a large foamy pink tinted head. The nose is floral with aromas of currants, grains and a bit of sour funk. The fruit hits your palate initially with flavors of black currant, sour grapes with hints of lemon and melon followed by notes of grains and slight sour funk. It’s medium body and medium high carbonation make it easy to drink. Reminds me of a fruit infused wild ale.
