It's not everyday you get the opportunity to taste wines with the winemaker of the specific bottle you are indulging in. Being able to taste, listen, learn and ask about the wine from the one person who knows the grapes better than anyone else is quite the experience, let alone when it's Winemaker Bo Barrett from the world renound Chateau Montelena Winery. This past Saturday he was kind enough to stop in and present his Estate Wines, tasting and answering questions as well as giving a backround on the Winery, it was quite the day!

Great thanks to Bo, after discussion and sampling the fine wines of Chateau Montelena all the while the film Bottle Shock playing in the backround, much was learned and appreciated from these beautiful wines and the story behind them(if you don't believe me just ask the French about Chateau Montelena).
