Email Beer Specials

Greetings to you, our thirsty friends:

If you have already signed up for our email beer list you will find information about these tasty brews in your inbox on Thursday. Here is a sneak peak:

Jolly Pumpkin Calabaza Blanca- Welcome again to the world of open fermentation and barrel aging. This offering from Jolly Pumpkin is a white beer, but it is unique for the style. It pours a hazy yet bright straw yellow color with a foamy two finger white head. Aromas of wheat, light malt and tart lemon come through with a musty funk in the background. The lemon comes through on the front of the palate with flavors of orange and coriander followed by the wheat, some spiciness and a tart, musty funk. It is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Sessionable and refreshing yet full of depth! 4.8% abv

Was- $11.49 Email- $10.49 750ml

St. Feuillien Tripel- This is a somewhat hidden gem in the world of Belgian Tripels. It pours a slightly hazy golden color with a decent sized white head that laces the glass nicely. Bready malts dominate the nose on this one with citrus fruit and white pepper in there as well. The palate is a bit less sweet than some Tripels. The tangy citrus fruit, tropical fruit and bready malts balance each other nicely with a slightly hoppy background and the white pepper coming through on the finish. It has a creamy mouth feel with a medium body and medium high carbonation. Give this one a try and you won’t be disappointed. 8.5% abv

Was- $11.99 Email- $10.99 750ml

These prices are good starting Thursday 03/08/2012. If you are not already signed up to receive our email beer list you can sign up by clicking on this link.

Thanks!
