New Email Beer Specials
It's that time of the week again when Dan Chacon releases his soon to be famous email beer list. Here are some of the beers that Dan is very excited about this week:
Russian River Supplication- If you like sours, but have yet to try supplication, then wait no longer. It pours a cloudy mahogany color with a small bubbly white head. Tart cherries, sour citrus, earthy funk and oak all come through on the nose. The palate follows the nose exactly. It is definitely very sour but balanced enough so that it is not over the top. The body is medium light while the carbonation is medium heavy as you would expect. Russian River has the sour category nailed for sure! 7%abv
Was- $13.49 Email- $12.49 375ml
The Bruery Saison Rue- This is a good saison to start with and then with the addition of rye and Brettanomices you’ve got a great saison! This one pours a golden honey color with a large white head that has good retention and lacing. On the nose aromas of banana, peppercorn, clove, dark bready yeast and hints of pineapple come through. You get flavors of tangy orange and pineapple, followed by banana, pepper and clove before finishing with spicy rye, grassy grain and a slightly sour funk. The body is medium while the carbonation is medium heavy. This is a very easy drinking beer at the unusual 8.5% for a saison. 8.5% abv 30 IBUs
Was- $12.99 Email- $11.99 750ml
