Casa Lapostolle
Color: Deep purple red color.
Nose: Intense and complex, with different layers of aromas such as spices, black and red fruit, herbs and mineral touches of led pencil.
Mouth: Elegant balance with velvety and well defined tannins, that evolve towards a concentrated mid palate that is filled with juicy tannins followed by a very long persistence.
Service and food pairing: Open and leave to breathe for a couple of hours or carefully decant for minimum 1 hour and enjoy at room temperature; 16 to 18ºC (60 to 65°F). Ideal companion for game, lamb, and entrecote fillet. Also good with rich cocoa chocolate deserts.

Outstanding as always. Right from the first take it has an elevated sense of being. The nose is rich, warm and deeply fruited, with balsam wood and lemony notes. It's deep as a coal mine on the palate, with herbal, tobacco and leather accents sprucing up serious berry fruit flavors. Minty and sly on the finish, and lovely overall. Drink now through 2016.

Wine Spectator
This is a rich and enticing red, with alluring aromas of warm cocoa and roasted vanilla bean giving way to lush plum sauce, cassis and raspberry ganache flavors. The long, smoldering finish is velvety and dripping with pure fruit, all of it backed by a suave tobacco note. Carmenère, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Best from 2011 through 2017. 4,538 cases made.

Screw Cap
Wines sealed with a screw cap as opposed to a cork, which experts report protects and preserves wine more effectively than does a cork, while also eliminating the possibility of cork taint.
No Sulfites
All wines naturally contain some sulfites, however wines that contain less than 10 parts per million sulfites are not required to include "Contains Sulfites" on their labels.

Parker, Jr. Initially titled The Baltimore-Washington Wine Advocate the first issue was published in 1978. Accepting no advertising, the newsletter publishes in excess of 7,500 reviews per year, utilizing Parker's rating system that employs a 50-100 point quality scale.

I still believe it is the simplest way to rate a wine, with its origins from grade school in the United States. A wine that I rate 90 points or more is outstanding (A), and worth buying. If I rate a wine 95 points or more (A+), it is a must buy.
