Joseph James Brewing Company - Citra Rye Pale Ale
Pours a light gold color with moderate head. The nose is spice forward and bright showing off the rye malt adjunct. The citra hops bring out strong aromas of bitter and piney tropical fruits. The mouthfeel is big and sturdy for a pale ale with perfect carbonation to help lift the flavors on the palate. Malt forward on the start, citrus and spice come through in the middle, finishes bitter.

Verboten Brewing Company - Thinking of Something Orange Wheat Beer
This wheat beer pours a hazy pale yellow with a big sudsy head. The nose balances subtle orange zest aromas with wheat notes of banana, coriander, and clove. Each note complimented by a sweet honey character. The mouthfeel is light and refreshing with carbonation lifting the ale up. The taste continues the aroma of the beer however, each note is less sweet. The orange blossom honey takes the forefront but works well with the spice and wheat to make a refreshing beer from start to finish.

Hop Valley Brewing Company - Citrus Mistress IPA
Pours a copper-amber hue with some haze and a large white head. The aromas start strong. Citrus, grapefruit and pine lead off the hop forward nose. The mouthfeel is sticky, but balanced with moderate carbonation. A caramel malt provides a sweet foundation for the palate. The grapefruit profile knocks it out of the park, providing a sweet, fruity start and a bitter, piney finish.

Golden Road Brewing Company - Wolf Among Weeds Double IPA
When it comes to the California Craft Beer scene, Los Angeles always gets forgotten among the crowd. Golden Road has a strong offering to help change that. Pours golden with a moderate white head. The nose is earthy and resinous with hops dominating the aroma. The mouthfeel makes this beer dangerously easy to drink and the ABV is hidden behind a sweet malt profile and medium carbonation. On the palate the taste is sweet and malty upfront with dank and earthy hops providing enough variety on the palate before finishing with a subtle dry bitterness.
