2010 Geovini Pinot Grigio - The fabulous world of wine begins in Italy, home to the world’s most esteemed, self-proclaimed wine aficionados. This majestic countryside is blanketed by lush vineyards, rooted in a history of passion passed down through generations. With respect to tradition along with an affinity for contemporary style our winemaker has crafted a wine from the most prestigious wine making regions as verdant as Italy’s winemaking history balanced by modern elegance and a refined flair for style.
Indulge in la dolce vita as you let your palate explore crisp flavors of pear, citrus and a touch of honey while a floral bouquet of subtle notes of honeysuckle and quince waft through the air. Take your time enjoying this rich wine experience as you sip Geovini for this wine is outta this world. An Argonaut Exclusive.

2008 Graffigna Centenario Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon - Rated 88 points Stephen Tanzer - Bright medium ruby. Slightly reduced aromas and flavors of blackberry, licorice and bitter chocolate. Juicy, intense and rather cool, with enticing violet lift. Has the mid-palate stuffing to support its serious tannic spine. Not hard, but I'd give this persistent wine a year or two to fill out. From Argentina

Curioso Sparkling Rose of Malbec – Ripe wild strawberries in the nose accompanied by flavors of cherries and spice notes. Faint aromas of strawberry and citrus peel on the nose. The wine is quite dry, fresh and light, with flavors of biscuit and ripe raspberries. The fruit opens up in intensity on the palate and is mixed with bright acidity that brings an elegant and smooth texture.
Celebrate in style with this sparkler. Enjoy the “bubbles” with light snacks, smoked salmon & herbed cream cheese, mild cheeses, crab dip and at the end of a meal with a bowl of fresh berries and whipped cream.(Best bet for Bruch) From Argentina
Suggested price $15.99     with e-mail $8.99

2008 Sorrel Canyon Meritage – This approachable blend of Merlot 40%, Cabernet Sauvignon 32%, Petite Verdot 24% and Cabernet Franc 4% features an excellent structure on the palate with lush tannins and intense fruit. Flavors and aromas of blueberry, blackberry and black currant with hints of French Oak lead to a long finish. A real delight with prime rib served with creamed spinach, veal shanks with risotto and lamb chops with a small dollop of mint jelly and creamy mashed potatoes. From California

2008 Pedroncelli Sangiovese The color a deep purple-red hue, our Sangiovese offers rich aromas of black raspberry, cherry and violets. The texture is full-bodied with flavors of berry, cranberry and pomegranate mixed with moderate tannins. The finish is full-flavored and zesty, with mouth-filling notes of chocolate and spice.

2010 Running with the Bulls Tempranillo – Rated 90 points Wine spectator. Firm in texture, this is generous with its blackberry, floral and walnut flavors, pulsing smoothly through the long, expressive finish. Drink now through 2016. 300 cases imported. Some Australian vintners are experimenting with the grape, and the firm but generous Running With Bulls is a good example of what vintners can do with it in the Land Down Under. From Australia

2009 Waterbrook Merlot Columbia Valley –- BEST BUY Rated 89 points Wine Enthusiast
Washington Merlot proves its merit once again, delivering big taste and even better value. At $12 this Watebrook 2009 Merlot is a steal. Enjoy! From Washington

2010 La Chertosa Reserve Sonoma Valley Chardonnay -This 100% Chardonnay is a unique composite of four different vineyard sites in the Sonoma Valley. I have attempted to highlight the important features of a Reserve Style Chardonnay with: Fruity high notes, Soft wood tones running throughout the front, middle, and back palate, a depth of fruit that appears as sweetness, but is truly ripe grape character at its fullest and a full mouth-feel without cloying or burnt-fruit character.

2009 Dashe Dry Creek Zinfandel – Rated 92 points Wine & Spirits. A fine vintage from Mike and Anne Dashe, this is bright and refreshing zin. There's lush red fruit between the layers of spice, the structure youthfully tight and firm. Everything about it feels balanced and complete.
Was $18.99     with e-mail $16.99
2010 Matanzas Creek Sauvignon Blanc – Rated 90 points International wine Cellar – Greenish yellow. Assertive grapefruit and green apple aromas are complicated by lemongrass and white flowers. Dry, bracing and surprisingly concentrated, offering firm citrus and orchard fruit flavors, nervy minerality and a long, racy finish. A grown-u p, low-fat, sharply focused style of the variety that I find utterly captivating.

Moylan’s Hopsickle Imperial IPA-  Moylan’s has definitely brewed one of the kings in the Imperial IPA category here! It pours a cloudy orange amber color with a large off white head. The nose is very hoppy full of pine and citrus aromas as well as some sweet tropical fruit aromas. Although very hoppy, the palate is pretty well balanced with flavors of pine, grapefruit, semi sweet orange and honey. It has a medium heavy body with light carbonation and a resinous mouth feel. This is a hop bomb for all the hop heads out there! 9.2% abv  100 IBUs

Lakefront My Turn Dan Baltic Porter-  This is the first in a series of employee picked brew styles from Lakefront, and this one starts it off nicely. The pour is a dark black color with a small foamy tan head. Big roasted malt aromas dominate the nose with notes of coffee, bready yeast, chocolate and hints of smoke. You get much of the same on the palate with hints of earthy hops, nuts and oats. The body is a touch heavy as far as porters go with medium carbonation and a smooth mouth feel. This is a good hearty flavorful porter! 8.5% abv  37 IBUs

Brasserie Des Rocs Brune-  Everything this abbey produces is top notch in my opinion! This being their strong dark ale offering. This one pours a dark reddish brown color with a large tan head that retains nicely. Aromas of sweet malt, brown sugar, dark fruits and Belgian yeast come though on the nose. The fruit notes are a bit different on the palate being more cherry and chocolate covered oranges followed by flavors of sweet bready malt, brown sugar, Belgian yeast and a bit of nutmeg. It has a medium heavy body with medium light carbonation making it slightly viscous. Yet another great beer from Des Rocs. 9% abv

High West Double Rye Whiskey-  This whiskey is a marriage of two straight rye whiskies that combines the properties of a high rye 2-year-old and the smooth richness of a 16-year-old. The 2-year-old has a 95% rye 5% barley malt mashbill. The older rye has a "barely legal" rye mashbill of 53% rye and 37% corn. The extra age and corn provides some extra sweetness to calm the "bite" of the younger rye. Thanks to its balance of cinnamon, anise, and honey Double Rye is great served neat, with a little water, or on the rocks. And its spirited flavor fortifies classic cocktails like the Manhattan and Old Fashioned. 46% abv
