2006 Donna Olga Brunello di Montalcino – Rated 92 points Wine Advocate; 92 pts Wine Enthusiast  Parker: The 2006 Brunello di Montalcino is a very pretty, flashy Brunello. In this vintage I find more elegance, freshness and balance than has often been the case. Freshly cut flowers, smoke, menthol, cherries, plums, underbrush and tobacco are some of the notes that come to life on the vivid, textured finish. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2024.
Rated 90 points By Stephen Tanzer
Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, Jul/Aug 11
Bright medium red.  Very ripe nose dominated by raspberry.  Sweet and seamless on the palate, with ripe, harmonious acidity nicely framing the enticing flavors of cherry, minerals and spices.  A floral element provides lift.  Finishes with a gentle sweetness, suave tannins and excellent length.  A grown-up style of Brunello that will nonetheless offer early appeal. 90 points

2009 Clio Red - The 2009 Clio, much like the 2004, is a show stopper! A powerhouse of a Spanish red with huge press year after year. Clio is made up of 70% old vine Monastrell and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. A glass-coating opaque purple color, it displays an in-your-face bouquet of wood smoke, underbrush, incense, blueberry, and black currant. Dense, chewy, packed and stacked, the fruit quality is superb, the balance impeccable, and the finish lasts for nearly a minute. Check out the wine’s six-year track record in the Wine Advocate:

Avery The Reverend-  This Belgian style quadruple is one of the best American offerings and can stand up to most from Belgium. The pour is a reddish copper color with a decent sized off white head that leaves nice lacing. Aromas of sweet dark malt, dark fruits, raisins, Belgian yeast and hints of clove are all present. On the palate you get much of the same along with some candy sugar, banana and tart fruits. The body is moderate for a quad with moderate carbonation and just a touch of heat. Just the right amount of an American touch on an excellent Belgian style! 10% abv  10 IBUs Was- $7.49                                                     Email- $6.99        22oz

The Bruery Saison Rue- This is a good saison to start with and then with the addition of rye and Brettanomices you’ve got a great saison! This one pours a golden honey color with a large white head that has good retention and lacing. On the nose aromas of banana, peppercorn, clove, dark bready yeast and hints of pineapple come through. You get flavors of tangy orange and pineapple, followed by banana, pepper and clove before finishing with spicy rye, grassy grain and a slightly sour funk. The body is medium while the carbonation is medium heavy. This is a very easy drinking beer at the unusual 8.5% for a saison. 8.5% abv  30 IBUs

Russian River Supplication-  If you like sours, but have yet to try supplication, then wait no longer. It pours a cloudy mahogany color with a small bubbly white head. Tart cherries, sour citrus, earthy funk and oak all come through on the nose. The palate follows the nose exactly. It is definitely very sour but balanced enough so that it is not over the top. The body is medium light while the carbonation is medium heavy as you would expect. Russian River has the sour category nailed for sure! 7%abv
