The 2021 Malbec De Sangre hails from the Uco Valley and was aged for 12 months in used oak barrels. It has a purple hue. The primary nose features enticing violet, plum and faint oak notes. The palate is juicy and broad, with a mid-palate full of flavor. The lingering finish is interlaced with fruits and oak.

Abundantly spiced and layered with floral and savory thyme details that join a juicy blackberry and plum core, which fans out nicely around chiseled tannins and a note of hibiscus. Drink now through 2028. 1,000 cases imported.

Hints of black fruit shape the nose. The palate is linear and fruit-forward with light tannins and enough acidity to carry the flavors into a medium finish. It's an enjoyable red and will pair well with empanadas.
