Dark aromas of ripe blackberries and black currants mulled with spicy cloves and anise rise from the glass, complemented by hints of cacao beans and dark chocolate nibs. On the palate, the wine is dense and full-bodied, with a core of black fruit compote and hints of licorice. This is a textured wine with medium tannins, finishing with a dusting of light oak tannin. While still youthful, this is quite the impressive rendition of our Estate offering.

Stellina di Notte Pinot Grigio 2016A joint project between Italian Winemaker Lorenzo Rosso and American Winemaker Marty Spate, our Pinot Grigio offers the best of both worlds with roots in Italian tradition and a style in modern taste. It has a bright, lively profile that exudes fresh citrus and green pear, graced with white floral notes. The limestone soils from the Veneto region give the wine its classic mineral cues that add levity and balance to the broad, fleshy palate. Big bold aromas of black cherry, chocolate and plum followed by flavors of black currants and figs. Opulent creamy texture with a long smooth finish. The Prisoner was created and inspired by the drinkable "mixed blacks" first made by the Italian immigrants who originally settled in the Napa Valley. Features enticing aromas of Bing cherry, dark chocolate, clove, and roasted fig. Persistent flavors of ripe raspberry, boysenberry, pomegranate, and vanilla linger harmoniously, for a smooth and luscious finish.
