Staff Comments: Dark ruby red with purple highlights. Deceptively dark for such a bright and lively example of the classic Rhone blend. Very aromatic with black cherry, wild berry, touches of earth and hints of smoke. Notes of bright fruit quickly turn from fresh mountain fruit to candied cherry and raspberry followed by an understated layer of earth on the mid- palate. Light to medium in body and quite complex from the fruit forward first sip to the slightly smoky finish. A touch of Vanilla rounds out the acidity and provides nice balance throughout. This would pair nicely with roasted chicken or even grilled salmon. GREAT VALUE
