Taittinger Nocturne Sec
We're sorry, but this product is not currently available.
In the strange world of Champagne, Sec (dry) on the label means a wine that is less dry than Brut. It is more to do with fullness and weight than sugar. This wine bears ripe fruit, flavors of peaches, creamy pears and light nougat and spice character. Pair this with richly sauced foods.
The NV Sec Nocturne offers good depth and richness in a soft, accessible style with good overall complexity and a round, generous personality. Admittedly, I am not a fan of Sec Champagnes, but this is a fine effort in its category. Disgorged: mid June, 2008. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2012.
Soft and off-dry, displaying peach and honey flavors backed by an underlying grapefruit accent. Drink now.
All sizes are 750ml unless otherwise stated.
