Staff Comments: A very rustic old world wine from Italy. Dried prunes and figs on the nose. This is medium bodied and drinking nicely now! The tannins have softened and the acidity has lessened. Cranberries, Autumn embers, tobacco, black cherry cola with a hint of smokiness. This is perfect for Pasta Puttanesca, chicken cacciatore, or Romano cheese wedges.
