Opaque purple with a dark perfume of black cherries and ripe plum followed by licorice, forest floor and dusty leather. The palate is juicy and full. Big chocolatey tannins play off bright acidity without being aggressive. The long finish is textured and opulent with bright cherry liqueur, graphite and black tea.
