The definitive MCK! A totally rockin' wine just likes its namesake: Detroit Rock City. Bold, big complex layers of five spice, cool ash and hung meat. Don't just take my word for it. Drink this wine!

Wine AdvocateComing from an older vineyard planted next to Dick Bushey's Bushey Vineyard, Smith's 2013 M C K Syrah (this stands for Motor City Kitty) is inky colored and off-the-charts good, with layers of black fruits, olive tapenade, crushed rock and pepper. Massive, full-bodied, decadent and voluptuous, it's certainly not for those craving lightweight aromas and flavors and dishes out immense pleasure. I think they almost give this away (it's priced somewhere around 35 bucks), but don't let the price fool you, this is an incredible wine!

Wine EnthusiastDon't be fooled by the Washington label. This is Yakima Valley fruit coming from a site next to esteemed Boushey Vineyard. Aromas of fresh herbs, brown stems, red fruit, graphite, bacon fat and orange peel lead to a mouthful of generous fruit flavors. The finish persists.
