Rated 92 James Suckling A wine that delivers a very fragrant, floral edge and has a deeply integrated array of violet and red plums, as well as tomato paste. Half the wine is aged for nine months on skins and this has really meshed the tannins nicely. A blend of 96% cabernet sauvignon and 4% cabernet franc.

The 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon opens with mentholated freshness that gives way to grilled herbs and hints of black currant. This flows across the palate with ease, silky yet sincere, with crisp black fruits and saline minerality that adds unexpected depth. It tapers off a bit shorter than anticipated but still satisfies, leaving a bitter blackberry tinge.
