Ken Wright oversees production for Angela Estate, bringing his 30-plus years of Oregon experience to the task. This lovely bottle is smooth and supple, the fruit a mix of ripe raspberry, red plum and cherry jam, with a gentle touch of chocolate. It's seamless and delicious now but should age nicely though 2026.
Deep vivid red. Lively, mineral-accented cherry, blackberry and potpourri scents show very good clarity and pick up cola and succulent herb nuances as the wine opens up. Sappy, well-concentrated dark berry and bitter cherry flavors are given spine by a core of juicy acidity. Densely packed but quite lively; finishes long and smooth, with subtle tannins lending grip
