Petillant is a vi d'agulla, the Catalan name for prickly wine. This vibrant and refreshing wine is the traditional summertime quaffer of the Penedès region of Catalonia, and it's perfect for drinking out of a porrón.

The 2023 Blanc Pétillant combines 50% Moscatel de Grano Menudo with 50% Macabeo and Xarel·lo, bottled as a light sparkling wine after fermenting with 10 g/L of sugar. It offers aromas of grapefruit and Muscat, with notes of roses and nard. Indulgent on the palate, its taut and vibrant acidity leads to a refreshing finish-a savory apéritif, indeed.
