Tapiz Alta Collection Cabernet Sauvignon 2015
|Region||Argentina, Uco Valley|
Wine AdvocateThe classical 2015 Alta Collection Cabernet Sauvignon was produced with grapes from their estate vineyards in San Pablo. The grapes fermented in stainless steel with selected yeasts after a cold soak. The wine matured in new and second use French oak barrels for 11 months. It's a textbook Uco, cold-climate Cabernet, with berry, herbal and spice aromas in good harmony. The palate is balanced and the tannins fine-grained, true to the variety. Very tasty. 84,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in October 2017. Drink Date: 2018-2022.
Wine SpectatorConcentrated dark cherry, plum and blackberry flavors are filled with rich chocolate and spice notes. Hints of cedar and cigar box on the finish. Drink now through 2020. 1,950 cases made.
Wine EnthusiastA dense color and aromas of raisin, baking spice and coffee land on a thick, sappy palate that's short on acidity. Soupy, lightly green and minty berry flavors are chewy on a weighted-down finish.
All sizes are 750ml unless otherwise stated.
