Trivento Golden Reserve Malbec 2015
|Region||Argentina, Mendoza, Lujan de Cuyo|
Wine AdvocateThe 2015 Reserve Malbec now blends grapes from Luján de Cuyo and Valle de Uco. It is a juicy, dark and concentrated red from a diversity of vineyards as they produced no less than six million bottles of it! One-fourth of the volume spends some six months in oak barrels, while the rest is kept in stainless steel. It's a fresh and straightforward red, fruit-driven, fresh, with limited influence from the oak, produced with the assembly of many different wines harvested at different points of maturity. They aim to represent the classical Malbec from Mendoza, mixing grapes from Luján de Cuyo and Valle de Uco. It has the aspiration to be the Casillero del Diablo from Argentina. A good introduction to the region.
