Staff Comments: Mats: Wow! Wow! Wow! A sancerre at this price? C’mon! A supple Sauvignon Blanc that just delivers. Green apples, lime zest, guava, butterscotch, and an elegant minerality. Super smooth and so succulent. Serve this with pan seared scallops, grilled oysters a summer fruit salad with bacon. Just delicious!
Staff Comments (Aaron) Golden straw in color, the sun shimmers through my glass as I enjoy a sip on my patio. Met with aromas of Meyer lemon, pineapple, hints of grapefruit, green apples and slight floral notes. Fresh fruit upfront with a slight creamy mid palate. Lemon tart, pineapple upside down cake are balanced with summer white flowers a touch of wet stone and just a slight finish of white pepper. A long velvety finish that makes the mouth water. A little guava and melon right at the end. I paired this with steamed mussels and a sauté of bell peppers and butter.
