H. Blin Brut RoseThe robe is deep gold pink, scattered with thousand fine bubbles. The nose shows power and strength link with softness and lightness: notes of fresh red fruits (raspberry, strawberry) with some overtone of dried fruits (almond) and soft spicy cinnamon and vanilla, subtle print brought by the red wine. The predominantly chardonnay is confirmed in the finesse and accuracy of the aromas. The mouth, spicy and fruity notes mix with deeper aromas giving a vinous and structured character to the wine. The nose immediately expresses fleeting notes of fermentation linked with strong aromas of wheat, of cereals linking with the terroir of the Marne Valley as well as the warm and gourmand vintage 2005. While warming up, aromas become refined around citrus notes, showing appearance of a sensual salty wake. The mouth, texture is tight. Its confirms the wine motion around air notes, both fresh and powerful, giving the impression of movement, a controlled fluidity, such as a silky velvet or a bed sheet of mixed linen and silk. A range between the dense and the light bringing a noble appearance. The mineral notes mix with notes of stone yellow fresh fruits and bring a consistency till the finale. Aresti Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2016– Staff Comments; Another brilliant wine from the Curico Valley, in Chile. Full bodied and another Miss Sheila treasure! Essence of a caramel latte on the nose. Medium bodied with leathery notes, bay leaf, granite, crushed peppercorns and rhubarb jam. Spectacular! This would be perfect with a skirt steak salad, chile rellanos, or a seafood stew.
