Quite a firm, fresh style to this red with blackberry, blueberry and bitter-lemon character on the nose and palate. Medium-bodied, clean and bright.

The young and fruit-driven 2019 Areyna Malbec matured in used barrels for six months. It was produced with grapes from Agrelo and Perdriel, from plots that yield nicely and deliver fluid wines from early-harvested grapes, looking for red rather than black fruit. It has a varietal and clean profile. 30,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in August 2018.
