The 2022 La Cuadrilla is a fabulous entry-level wine. Crushed flowers, sweet red berry fruit, spice, tobacco and cedar give this light-bodied wine lovely aromatic presence. All the elements are very nicely balanced. The 25% stems are present, but not overpowering.

Based on 60% Syrah, 30% Grenache, and the rest equal parts Mourvèdre and Sangiovese, the 2022 La Cuadrilla Red Wine has quality strawberry and crunchy cherry fruits as well as lots of peppery herbs and floral nuances. Medium-bodied, juicy, and easygoing, with integrated, bright acidity and a great finish, it's a delicious red to enjoy over the coming 5-6 years. This is California's answer to a terrific Côtes du Rhône!
