This vintage from Hallberg is very much in line with the past years. The signature floral character of the vineyard shows prominently. It is medium bodied with more acidity than tannins, reminiscent of the 2012 vintage but lighter on its feet with fresh blueberry and cranberry complimented by pepper and, warm spices. The wine is bright and charming marrying Russian River Valley fruit with the elegance of the old world.

With Winemaker David Lattin now at the helm, this vintage packs a punch of grace and power. Rose, lavender and earth tones accent a juicy black-cherry core, with crisp acidity sitting alongside a hint of nutmeg.

The 2017 Pinot Noir Hallberg Ranch features smoked cranberries, tar, Bing cherries and earth on the nose. The palate is light-bodied and dilute with broody character and a touch of chewiness, and it falls away a tad on the finish. 4,500 cases produced.
All sizes are 750ml unless otherwise stated.
