Acentor Garnacha 2016 Bottle
This wine is produced from 100% old, bush-vine Garnacha grown on slopes between 750-1000 meters elevation. The vines struggle in poor rocky soil with clay subsoil and produce superb grapes. The grapes were hand-harvested in early October and were fermented in cement tanks followed by 4 months aging in oak barrels, keeping a balance between fresh fruit flavors and complexity from oak. This medium bodied, dry wine is an excellent choice to pair with everyday dishes; roasted chicken, pizza, cheeses or to simply enjoy on its own.
Wine EnthusiastBerry and tomato aromas are basic. Typical of Garnacha, this is grabby and chewy on the palate. Flavors of grape skins, black plum and herbal berry fruits are peppery and show a hint of oak-based clove on the finish.
All sizes are 750ml unless otherwise stated.
