Nice intense and bright color. The nose is very fruity, as a full red and black fruits basket, with delicate spices too, liquorice, cinnamon and fragrance of flowers. The palate reveals a well-balanced wine, with a nice freshness enhanced by the minerality, and delicate flavors of cherries, blackberries and raspberries. Pairs well with poultry or red meat, as well with heavier seafood and roasted vegetables.
A wine with structure and presence, buoyed by a complex backbone of minerality, wrapped in refined dark cherry and black tea flavors and finishing with fine-grained tannins. Best from 2021 through 2029. 6,550 cases made.
The first Pinot of the new vintage from Jadot's Oregon project, this has a soft entry into a palate with pomegranate and raspberry fruit. There's a balanced herbal frame around the red fruits, and the overall structure suggests that this wine should age quite gracefully. Drink now through the 2020s.
