Color: Medium depth crimson with pink hues.
Aroma: Bright, juicy blueberry and red currant leaps out of the glass with a hint of bramble and herb and a little chocolate note.
Palate: The juicy fruit flows onto the medium bodied palate and mingles with brambly and sweet spices. Fine grained tannins give the juicy fruit a savory edge on the finish.
Pairings: Lamb chops; rack of lamb; prime rib steak; barbecued meats; hearty tomato pasta; spicy pizza.

Mint, tobacco leaf and redcurrants combine on the nose of the 2017 Offspring Cabernet Sauvignon, a new offering from Langmeil. It's medium-bodied, with a coarse, grainy texture and a dusty finish-not one of this normally fine producer's best efforts.
