Deep violet color. Red and dark berry preserve, spicecake and floral aromas are complemented by suggestions of olive and licorice. Sappy and energetic on the palate, offering spice-laced bitter cherry and black raspberry flavors that become sweeter with aeration. Subtly gripping tannins add shape to the pliant finish, which clings with good authority.

Black raspberries, new leather, sappy herbs, and Christmas spice notes all emerge from the medium-bodied 2018 Crozes-Hermitage Les Launes, which has a seamless, elegant texture, and polished tannins. It's a charming, balanced, impeccably put together Crozes Hermitage that can be drunk today or cellared for 8-10 years. This cuvée is always destemmed and brought up in a mix of tank and a small part in barrel.

Deep garnet in color, this youthful, medium- to full-bodied Syrah exudes Mirabelle plums, dark cherries, violets and crème de cassis, with a stony finish. Matured mainly in tank, it has a round, fruity profile that's inviting and enjoyable.

Always a cuvée that offers good value for drinking young, the 2020 Crozes Hermitage les Launes features mouthwatering cherries and raspberries. It's medium-bodied, supple and easy to drink, with a gentle, silky-textured finish.
