Trinity Brewing Company Some Weird Sin 375ml
Pilsen, golden naked oats, rye, and red wheat. Brewed with Red Zin must and Citra hops. Spiced with Grains of Paradise. Aged on Red Zin Barrels, and intentionally lightly carbonated for a vinous presentation. Pair with roasted leg of Goat stuffed with a Swiss Chard and lime pickle.
This beer pours a cloudy dark ruby color with a small fizzy white head that disappears almost instantly. The nose is dominated with vinous red grape aromas and wine soaked oak with hints of molasses. Surprisingly the body is a medium weight but expectantly the carbonation is on the lighter side providing a silky consistency. The palate is also dominated by vinous red grapes. Oats and grains of paradise contrast the fruit nicely while finishing with some tannic oak character. The abv% is well masked for being so high. This is a very wine like beer.
