Vinified in cuve – aged 9 months in barrel 10% new oak; sandy top soil with clay limestone base; Lovely spicy oak, grilled meat and ripe red cherries in the nose. This is structured and savory wine on the palate with darker fruits such as blackberry, pepper and toasty oak throughout. A wine that can lay down for 7 years minimum.

This ripe wine has good structure. Tannins go with the dense black-currant and berry fruits, giving a young, richly textured wine. Wood aging has added spice and calmed the vibrant fruitiness to give final complexity. Drink the wine from 2022.
