Generally medium-bodied, low in acidity, and medium tannin, Dolcetto is the quintessential table wine of most Piedmontese families, often enjoyed with lunches or antipasti of charcuterie. Ours, however, is a bit more serious than table wine. Attimo Dolcetto di Dogliani DOCG comes from the stronghold of Dolcetto...Dogliani. A striking pre-roman village with vast vineyards amongst its rolling hills. Soils are heavy in clay thanks to years of activity of the Tanaro River that cuts right through the commune center. Dogliani wines are wrapped in perfumed aromas, spice notes, and tobacco, producing complex wines to enjoy throughout a meal. We recommend a slight chill on our wine, making it even fresher, especially in the summer months.
