Odyssey - Fluffy Bunny - flavored porter

Odyssey’s rotational seasonal beers have proven to be pretty solid releases. And with Easter right around the corner, why not pick yourself up some adult Easter candy. This beer pours a very dark brown, almost black, color with a small foamy tan head that dissipates fairly quickly. The chocolate and peanut better aromas a very bold on the nose, but in balance with each other and they are backed by some rich dark malt aromas. The body is medium heavy with medium carbonation and a slightly creamy mouth feel. The chocolate and peanut butter notes are bold on the palate again up front, but they don’t dominate like they do on the nose. Slightly roasty malts follow mid-palate also adding hints of sweeter coffee. The toasted marshmallow doesn’t come through until the finish, resting on the tongue after the sip is gone. This is a must have for your Easter celebration! It pours an opaque brown and is topped with a beautiful chestnut colored head. Lovely notes of chocolate and peanut butter come to the nose, reminiscent of a particular egg shaped Easter treat that everyone loves! Very strong notes of peanut butter and chocolate with the first sip. Ends with a light well-rounded sweetness from the marshmallow. Odyssey never disappoints with their “fluffy” series.
