The 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva Legado from Isla de Maipo was aged for 10 months in foudres. Garnet red with a purple sheen. The nose presents refined notes of black currant and hints of pepper over a bed of sour cherry and bell pepper. Delicate in the mouth, with full, fruity flavor and polished tannins; the freshness is precise and juicy. An easygoing style reminiscent of 1980s reds.

I am really impressed by the 2020 Legado Cabernet Sauvignon, which feels fresh and aromatic, with a notable absence of herbal notes. It has a medium-bodied palate with very fine tannins and refreshing acidity. It's spicy and varietal in a subtle way. 58,666 bottles produced. It was bottled in May 2021.

A polished red, with floral plum and mineral notes on a light- to medium-bodied frame. Ends with chalky tannins. Drink now. 6,500 cases made, 2,300 cases imported.

A tight nose exhibits vague aromas of cherry. It has a green character with ripe fruit flavors and high acidity. Oaky notes are pronounced and linger in the finish.
