Full bodied, rich, elegant, classic. A rich and vibrant dark purple. Aroma of black forest fruits and a hint of creme caramel.
On the palate dark plum fruits and chocolate with subtleties of anise and spice. A seamless tannin profile elevates the fruit providing depth and length to the finish. Drink now or cellar confidently for 10 to 15 years from vintage.

There’s rich and intense fruit on offer here, from raspberries to red plums to blackberries and assertive American-oak influence. The palate has a very rich and plush feel with bold, fleshy blackberry flavors, as well as some chocolate, smoked meat and spice. Intense and fleshy.

Classic South Aussie Shiraz notes of plump cherry and plum, with peppery spice and a warm gravel nuance, lead to a rich, full-figured palate that comes with a big lift of acidity framed in textural tannins that support without overwhelming the tangy fruit and spice. It could use more time in bottle, or a good decant if drinking now.

Boasts brambly wild berry flavors that mingle with rosemary, sage and a touch of cream soda. Shows good intensity and balance on a fleshy frame. Drink now. 1,000 cases imported.

The 2019 Barossa Shiraz from Elderton is showing aniseed-like oak characters on the nose, but that's no surprise for this early stage in its life. In the mouth, the concentrated fruit shines through. It remains a little clipped by oak through the finish for my taste, but the fruit is superb.
