This is definitely not your typical style hard seltzer. If you’ve never tried smoothie seltzer or sour before, it’s a different experience. It’s basically like drinking a lightly carbonated fruit smoothie that gives you a buzz. This one pours an opaque amber / peach color with a very large, dense and foamy, peach colored head. The nose is filled with aromas pineapple, mango, passion fruit and light banana because they add juice puree from all of these fruits as well as a couple of others. The body is heavy with a medium light carbonation, hence the smoothie description. You get notes of all the fruits from the nose, although the pineapple is a little lighter here, as well as notes of tangerine. This style isn’t for everyone, but if you’re into this sort of thing it’s done right. Review by Dan Chacon
