Clement XO Rhum Vieux is distilled from sugarcane juice as is typical in Martinique and proudly wears the "AOC Martinique" designation signifying an exemplary degree of expertise in every stage of production. Color: Mahogany. Maturation: 6 years tropical aging in ex-Bourbon barrels. Nose: Sweet with brown sugar, dried fruit, dates, prunes, and baking spices. Palate: Full mouthfeel with flavor of oak, punctuated by sweet gingerbread and mocha.

Luscious; an intensely toasty bouquet with scents of hemp, charcoal, cigarette, paraffin, charcoal and honey. The toasty core flavor is highlighted at palate entry; the midpalate focuses on the brown sugar, honey, oaky vanilla and holiday spice qualities. Semisweet finish, with tastes of nougat, candied walnut and dark honey.
