HISTORY
Château Pavillon de Boyrein, 25 hectares, is located at the border of Sauternais, and was the "hunting ground" of the Pope Clement V. The Domaine de Boyrein was already mentionned in the "Feret" in 1849, and was owned by the Gourgue Lords. In 1877, the Domaine was divided into 3 properties. Arnaud Duperrain had built "Le Pavillon de Boyrein" by the beginning of the 20th century. From 1952 to 2022, the Vineyard was owned by the Bonnet's family for three generations. The Chatin family, the current owners, purchased the property in 2022.
