Dry Creek Dry Chenin Blanc 2017
|Region||California, Central Valley, Clarksburg|
Wine Review OnlineUsually associated with France’s Loire Valley (think Vouvray), Chenin can be made in a variety of different styles, from crisp sparklers to honeyed sweeties and everything in between. Dry Creek’s version is a dry wine backed by a good ratio of acidity and a graceful, somewhat oily texture. Notes of pear and pineapple abound, with a whiff of honeysuckle in the background.
Wine EnthusiastThis wine is a long-running success story for the winery. It carries aromas of citrus zest and freshly sliced apples on the nose. The palate shows good balance through crisp acidity and a medium body, tempered slightly by 4 g/L residual sugar.
All sizes are 750ml unless otherwise stated.
