Nicely layered, with notes of baked plum, forest berries and mocha on the nose. Enjoyable acidity with lively flavors of black cherries and olive saturate the palate. Moderate in tannins, ripe yet polished, this California Cabernet has pleasant hints of green pepper, coconut, and well-integrated toasty oak notes on the finish. This versatile wine pairs well with a variety of foods like rib-eye steak with blue cheese butter, roasted eggplant with provolone cheese and dark chocolate mousse with fresh berries.
