These lemon, mint, basil and iced tea aromas will have you daydreaming about languishing on a veranda somewhere warm and tropical. The wine's lemon shortbread and grapefruit flavors will not dissuade you of that notion. This is lighter-bodied fare, with gentle acidity.

Bright silver/straw-colored, the 2023 Pinot Gris is bottled under screwcap and leaps from the glass with notes of honeydew melon, grapefruit, fresh flowers, and fresh herbs. It's nearly Sauvignon Blanc-like. Medium-bodied and pithy, it's a dry, fresh style with solid value to enjoy over the near term to preserve its freshness.
