The 2023 Yellow Tail Chardonnay smells of lemon curd, Moscato fruit, rock melon/cantaloupe, apricot Danish and fresh marmalade on toast. The wine is sweet and plump, and I find it lacks the acid cut-through to balance the sugar that is undoubtedly in here. I could drink this over ice, with a sprig of mint and a squeeze of lime, though! This was tasted blind as part of the "Value for Money" tasting in September 2023.
