Soft, velvety, and smooth, [yellow tail] Merlot is an excellent alternative to the heavier and more tannic red varieties. Soft aromas of ripe plums, mulberries, lingering vanilla and the sweet spiciness of Christmas cake. Soft and smooth on the palate, with notes of dark plum, mulberries and subtle spice.
