The aromas are dynamic, with notes of Nestea Iced Tea, lemon, white grapefruit rind, white peach, melon and wet slate. The palate is considerably fuller than many recent years, true to the vintage, loaded with stone fruit and citrus flavors. The acid that is the hallmark of this wine remains.

Sweet white flowers, lime-tinged crushed apples and hints of smoke waft up from the 2021 Riesling Eroica. It's soft upon entry with a pleasant inner sweetness, yet quickly gains tension through a mix of zesty, tart orchard fruits and minerals. The 2021 leaves the palate completely refreshed with nuances of tropical melon and pretty inner florals that resonate on. There's a lovely balance here, as the Eroica clocks in at 17.5 grams of residual sugar.
