Bodini Malbec 2017
Wine SpectatorA juicy style, with raspberry and red currant flavors backed by lively acidity. Sandalwood and cigar box notes show on the supple finish. Drink now. Tasted twice, with consistent notes. 12,000 cases made.
Wine AdvocateFrom vines in the Luján de Cuyo, the 2017 Malbec fermented with selected yeasts in concrete and stainless steel tanks and was bottled unoaked. Produced with grapes from Casarena, with a clean vinification, this has a bright color and is fresh, fruit-driven and easy to drink, showing the variety as an everyday wine. Juicy, floral and fresh. 204,000 bottles produced exclusively for the US. They also sell this in cans in the US for on-the-go consumption.
Wine EnthusiastRubbery berry aromas smell of clove. This is creamy and kind of obtuse in shape, with a slightly gummy texture. Flavors of bacon fat, clove and berry fruits transition to spice, clove and some bitterness on the finish.
All sizes are 750ml unless otherwise stated.
