Trapiche Tesoro Malbec 2022

The 2022 Tesoro Malbec hails from La Consulta, contains 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and was aged in a mix of barrique and foudre for 13 months. It is dark, brooding and spice-driven on the nose, followed by a pure, supple and gently tensile palate. It concludes with a solid, lifted and mineral-inflected finish. It's a well-executed example of modern Uco Valley Malbec.

The 2022 Malbec Tesoro also contains a 10% dash of Cabernet Sauvignon from the Uco Valley. Purple in color. The nose features red and black fruit with a pinch of herbs. Indulgent and juicy with mellow, grippy tannins, this is a simple but rewarding red.
