- Dry, appetizing and complex, this wine has intricate aro¬mas of butter, almond and toast followed by mellow fruit flavors, lingering spices and a suave texture that seems to encourage the long finish. It’s light-to medium-bodied and excellent in overall quality. Editors’ Choice. —J.G.

(65% pinot noir and 25% chardonnay): Light, bright gold. Green apple and quinine on the citrus-accented nose. Very dry and nervy on the palate, which offers taut lemon and orchard fruit flavors and a hint of bitter herbs. Slightly pinched on the finish but there's good focus and cut here. This bubbly has a low 2.95 pH, which no doubt contributes to its racy character.
All sizes are 750ml unless otherwise stated.
