Bouquet: A lifted and perfumed Sauvignon Blanc with strong citrus characteristics leading into ripe tropical tones. Complimentary flinty and smoky notes linger in the background providing a complex balance to the primary fruit.
Palate: The wine is juicy and mouth filling with vibrant ripe fruit. A fresh line of balanced acidity supports the soft, round texture.
Food match: Fresh, simple seafood dishes especially oysters. Also compliments goat's cheese well.

Lush and expressive, with plenty of concentration to the mix of mango, lemon curd and litsea oil flavors. Details of dried pineapple, candied ginger and crystalized orange zest add complexity and aromatics on the long finish. Drink now. 35,000 cases made, 8,000 cases imported.

The 2023 Sauvignon Blanc is light in body but dense in concentration because of low yields. It's almost silvery in color and restrained due to hand-picking, leading to pure grapefruit, passion fruit and nectarine, all delivered with plenty of focus and punch. The finish is long, precise and sinewy.

Still very young, this could use another year in the bottle before it's cracked open. If drinking now, leave time for aeration in the glass or decanter for the struck match reductive notes to blow off and be replaced by white grapefruit, lime, passion fruit and dried herbs. Its complexity really lies in the palate, which is poised with lovely texture, crystalline acidity and a long, tangy citrus fruit finish.
