Broquel Malbec 2013
Wine SpectatorSupple, with plum pudding, raspberry and milk chocolate flavors, loaded with accents of Asian spice. The finish lingers with hints of mocha and licorice. Drink now. 50,000 cases made.
Wine AdvocateThe 2013 Malbec Broquel was produced using grapes from the Valle de Uco (San Carlos and Tunuyán) that fermented in concrete and stainless-steel vats. The wine matured in used French oak barrels for 15 months. Fruit-driven on the nose, the oak is very well integrated into this juicy red with aromas of violets and a mixture of red and black fruit. The palate shows the sweet, fine tannins with balanced acidity and has a dry ending. A Malbec for food. 1.2 million bottles are filled in six different lots.
All sizes are 750ml unless otherwise stated.
