Showing a pale straw-gold color, the Terredora di Paolo 2022 Irpinia Falanghina Corte di Giso comes in at a slightly lower aromatic threshold compared to past vintages that may have had cooler growing conditions and therefore were more aromatic. The fruit is soft and subtle with Golden Delicious apple and neutral tones of pear and quince. There is a hint of bitter almond on the close, with dusty earthy sensations. This is 85% Falanghina with 15% Fiano, and 180,000 bottles were released.
